Overview
Kèr Hishgof was founded durring the late 10th century, by Gersel Ab Owen. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.
Kèr Hishgof was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Hishgof is no diffrent. The village's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Kèr Hishgof is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of broad packed earth streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The village is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a village of Kèr Hishgof's size could have. Unfortuantly, these well-designed, yet cheep are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.
A look around Kèr Hishgof shows Kèr Hishgof is little more than a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is.
Civic Infrastructure
Kèr Hishgof has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Kèr Hishgof's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Kèr Hishgof has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Kèr Hishgof is home to a University which provides higher education in a variety of fields, and also serves as a research institute for those same fields.
Cultural Notes
Kèr Hishgof's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.
In Kèr Hishgof hail is always enormous, yet harmlessly plinks off people, creatures, and structures.
Kèr Hishgof's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves drinking to channel Conjuration energies of tier 2 via chanting.

Points of Interest
Kèr Hishgof is reliant on an industry or product that has toxic or negative side-effects as part of its production. The good is extremely valuable, or the community is extremely desperate, and the side effects are endured as a necessary evil. It may be that their neighbors or lord are forcing them to produce the good so that they aren’t the ones suffering the cost.
Kèr Hishgof's is something of a geological and arcane anomaly, as neither physical nor magical law entirely explains its formation.
